About Janette
My husband and I farm alongside his parents in the Brandon, MB area, where we run a mixed operation of grain and cattle. While I’m not part of the daily grind, I pitch in wherever I can - whether it’s sorting cattle, helping on weekends feeding chores, or keeping the crew well-fed during harvest. I may be behind the scenes, but I’m always close to the heart of the farm. We are so proud to be raising our family on the farm. ​​
I find real joy in getting together with friends and family around the table—especially when I’m serving up a classic Sunday roast with all the trimmings and a well-earned glass of wine.
I'm a head leader for our local 4-H beef club, and when I’m not diving into a good book or exploring a walking trail, you’ll find me soaking up the fresh air. I love the simple things, like pegging washing out on the line and watching my chickens explore the yard.
